Looking back at the WDSF World Championship Slovenia 2026, we have so many reasons to be proud!
This year’s championship was particularly special for the Slovenian Dutch Shepherd Club (SKNIO), as we had the honour of being part of the organization of this international event here in Slovenia.
What makes us even happier is the wonderful participation of our members and the fantastic results they achieved!

🏆 ONE GOLD AND TWO SILVER MEDALS FOR SKNIO! 🥇🥈🥈
A special congratulations to Ivan Slezák, who claimed 1st place in Mondioring Category 1, and to our two silver medalists, Ajda Tadel in IGP2 and Katarina Uradin in Mondioring Category 2!
These are fantastic achievements and a wonderful reflection of the dedication, hard work and commitment of our members.
But beyond the medals, we are equally proud of every single member who stepped onto the competition field.
Behind every performance are countless hours of training, perseverance, challenges overcome and the unique partnership between handler and dog. Not every competition goes as planned, and not every achievement is measured in points or podium finishes. That is part of the journey, and every experience contributes to growth.
Having nine members from four different countries competing across all four disciplines at a World Championship is something we are truly proud of!
For SKNIO, this championship represented much more than competition results. It was an opportunity to bring people together, strengthen friendships across borders and celebrate our shared passion for the Dutch Shepherd.
We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this championship possible – the organizing team, volunteers, judges, partners and supporters. Your dedication, cooperation and countless hours of work made this event a memorable experience for the entire Dutch Shepherd community.
❤️ To all our competing members – congratulations!
We are incredibly happy with your participation, your achievements and the sportsmanship you demonstrated throughout the championship.
Thank you for being part of SKNIO and for representing our club with such dedication and passion.
We look forward to many more shared experiences, challenges and successes in the future!
Different countries. Different disciplines. One breed. One community.
🐾 Driven by Joy. Guided by Respect.
